Agents use the link to access the Agent Login.
Click on Continue With Dotloop.
Create a loop for your buyers. If you already have the loop created you can skip to step 2.
Click on the loop status, under the property address, and change it to Under Contract. This is the trigger that pushes the property to your Keybox App, enabling Earnest Money collection. CLICK HERE to learn more about loop statuses.
NOTE: If you’re unable to change the loop status make sure you have a transaction type selected. This will also be under the loop name.
You will need to make sure you have completed the following. All screenshots are from the View Details page of your loop.
Added your buyers names and email addresses
Given yourself the role of Buying Agent
Completed the Earnest Money amount field in View Details
NOTE: If you have signed documents you may have already done this!
Once logged in, you will be directed to your Keybox dashboard.
NOTE: Take a loop at mobile set up for Keybox on the go!
On the left side, click on Pending.
Here you will see your Pending requests. Loops labeled as Under Contract in dotloop are eligible to send a Payment Request to the buyer.
NOTE: Contact Payload to enable Agent Fee and/or Commission modules.
To the right of the property details click on Request Earnest Money.
Use the dropdown in the Request Earnest Money window to select the escrow account. There may already be a default account selected or there will be a list of accounts to choose from.
Under Pending click on Sent. You can view your sent requests here.
Click on View Request to generate a link to re-send to your buyer if necessary.
Once the buyer has successfully submitted payment the property will move down to the Received tab.
Under Sent click on Received. You can view your successful EMD payments here. Once the buyer makes their payment the buyer, agent, and admin team will receive an email notification.
Receipts will be stored here and automatically imported into dotloop.
Buyer clicks on Pay Now.
The buyer is directed to Keybox’s secure payment portal and simply enters in their bank account routing and account number. Their bank account information is verified, payment is processed, and receipts are distributed to the homebuyer, agent, dotloop, and trust account admin team.
NOTE: The homebuyer pays the convenience fee.
