To ensure the smoothest dotloop experience, it is always a good idea to make sure your browser is up to date, as well as perform some basic maintenance from time to time. Try updating your browser, and clearing your cookies and cache if you experience issues. You can also check out some best practices for using dotloop features here.
Go to https://www.dotloop.com/#signin, and then click Forgot your Password? and follow the prompts. Once you submit the form, you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.
To change your information, click on the profile switcher (the circular icon at the top right of the page, next to your profile name) and click My Account in the dropdown. In this section, you can edit your name, esign name, change your email, or change your password. Once you are finished modifying the section, click on the Save button at the bottom.
To bypass the 24 hour lock on your account, you can reset your password to gain access. To do this, go to https://www.dotloop.com/#signin, and then click Forgot your Password? and follow the prompts. Resetting your password will grant you access back into your account!
Go to this site provided by NAR and choose one of two recovery methods: 1) using your last name and email or 2) using your last name and real estate license number. Type in the applicable information and click Submit.
Currently, you can only select one role for yourself in dotloop. If you hold multiple roles for a transaction, choose a role for yourself in the loop that best fits one of them. This will populate all information on documents for that role. Now, any places on the document that you need your name filled in or to sign as the other role you can manually fill and assign for these fields.
Tip: to sign, click on a signature and assign it to yourself. Then, the signature field turns red and you'll see the option to Sign now when you click the signature again.
