Adding an association is simple and will allow you to have access to any association forms that they may have provided. You can add as many associations as you wish to any of your profiles, but each association that provides forms on dotloop will have their own set of regulations that are displayed for you on setup.
To access the My Account section of your account, click on your profile selector menu at the top of the page. In the dropdown menu, click the My Account link.
By default, you will be taken to the Account Settings page. Here, you will see a navigational menu to the left. Click the Profiles link.
While some users will only have one profile listed here, others may have multiple profiles to select from. Click on the name of the profile you wish to add your association to.
Under the Brokerage and Associations section, you will see a link to Add Association. Click this to begin the process.
In this window, the state you have selected for your account will already be filled in for you. You can edit the text in the search bar to narrow down the association you are looking for. Once found, click the Add button at the bottom of the window.
Your association may require activation, such as an NRDS ID, or an invitation code. Read the instructions carefully as they will detail the information on how to connect to your association.Need to find your NRDS id? Go to this site provided by NAR and choose one of two recovery methods: 1) using your last name and email or 2) using your last name and real estate license number. Type in the applicable information and click Submit.
Note: dotloop provides forms for over 150 local and state associations. If dotloop does not currently have an agreement with your association, the instructions will denote that interactive forms are not currently available.
Your specific association may require you to confirm an agreement once you have entered the required credentials. If so, please read the agreement carefully and accept or continue. Upon successful completion, you will now see your association listed.Note: this process can be repeated for all associations you have access to.
Your forms will now be available to view and manage. These can be accessed via the Templates icon at the top navigation menu, under the subheading Document Templates. All the documents listed in the folders here are active and ready for use within your loops.
