As an admin for your dotloop team, you have the ability to complete actions on behalf of your agents. This allows you to assume control of any agents' profile in your team account and act as if you were that agent. You can complete any action and work as if you were the agent. Click here to view our webinar on this topic.
To act on behalf of another agent let's first navigate to the top right of your page and hover your mouse over the right-most icon, your profiles icon. This icon will be a circle that may contain either your initials, your picture, or a picture of your team logo.
Once you have moused over this icon you will be presented with a list of all the profiles in your account, as well as the profiles of your team members, as denoted by their name.
Now, click on the name of the agent you wish to assume control of. This will load their profile and the loops contained within.
Completing an action on behalf of the agent
Let's click on the loop titled '12/4 Test Loop'. This will take us into the loop in the view of the agent we have assumed control of. As you'll notice, the loop shows that I am Alan, so all actions I complete will be sent as if Alan had completed them.
Next, let's have you add a client to the loop and share out the document in the loop. As we open the document, dotloop will prompt you with a pop up. This will let you know that any action completed will be on behalf of Alan, but any signature or initial fields you sign will be from you, not Alan.
Continue setting up and sharing the document as you normally would. Once complete, navigate to the activity log. Here we can see that all actions were completed as the admin on behalf of the agent.
