Autofilling is an easy way to save time filling out any interactive document in dotloop. With Autofill you can search for property information via RETS feed, existing listings within dotloop, and Google address search. If the property is listed with one of these three resources, then once linked, dotloop will automatically fill out all available information straight to your View Details section for use in documents.
Note: Once you select a listing to link your loop, you cannot undo this selection. Please make sure you are selecting the proper listing before continuing. Also, if you would like to repurpose a loop for another listing or address we suggest you archive the current loop and create a new loop.

RETS Feed: If the property is available in your MLS through dotloop, you can link to all of its property details with one click.
Existing dotloop listing: If you are trying to make an offer on a property that has already been listed in dotloop, click on the listing to automatically link the property address details. The loops available to link to will be listing loops that a Listing Agent has set as an Active Listing.
Google address search: Selecting an address from the Google address search suggestions will fill out that address within your View Details section.

Note: ensure that you are confirming the correct property as once this is confirmed it cannot be unlinked.

FAQ
Q: What fields are synced when linking to a listing?
A: If it is a RETS feed listing from an MLS: Property Address (Street #, Street Name, City, State, Zip), Listing ID, Bedrooms, Baths, Listing Date, Legal Description, Parcel ID, Selling Price, Year Built, Association Fees, Property Type, Sq Ft, Remarks, Listing Agent Full Name, Listing Agent Email, Listing Office Name, Listing Office Phone, Pets Allowed, Tax ID/Parcel.
However, if you are linking to a dotloop listing, we will only pull the property address into the loop details, but will also add the listing agent into the loop, allowing you to quickly share offers!
Q: When a user links to a listing, will the user from that listing get notified?
A: No, the user from that listing will not be notified. We create a loop for the listing agent if one doesn't exist but we don't add the buying agent until a document is shared.
Q: Would the listing loops marked “private” be available as data source?
A: No, the listing loops that are marked as “private” will not be available as a data source so they will also not be searchable.
Q: Once the user chooses to link to a listing, the user cannot “undo” the linking. if the user makes a mistake and accidentally links to the wrong listing? How do they fix this?
A: In this release, the system does not allow users to “unlink” to a listing. If the user makes the mistake of linking to a wrong listing, we suggest the user to archive the loop and start a new loop. We recognize that this is not optimal for those who accidentally link to wrong listings so we make sure that user makes an explicit choice when they link to a listing. Users will be asked to confirm the linking.
Q: If the price changes on the MLS listing, but the user has already created a loop that links to a MLS listing, would the price get updated?
A: No, the price will NOT be updated. The pull of all MLS data to the loop is a one time pull. If there is an update on any information, our system will not update that.
Q: If the user creates and selects an address from the google maps on the search results, does it still fill in the address and have the pop-up to link the loops?
A: Yes, google maps address will fill in the address fields for the user. However, because it is a google maps address, not a MLS listing, no additional data will be carried over.
