In the loop Document section, you have the ability to replace a document with another document. Replacing documents allows you to update versions of documents. This reduces clutter in the loop, excluding the need to take additional steps to archive, and allows you to organize documents before submitting for review or sharing. The documents must be in the same folder for replacing.

You will be asked if you are sure you want to replace the document. If you are sure, click Yes at the bottom right corner of the window. Upon clicking the Yes button, the original document will be archived and replaced with the new document.

The new document will inherit the old document's REQUIRED or OPTIONAL status, and will update to NOT SUBMITTED.

The activity log will record this action.


They will appear greyed out at the bottom of the folder. You can still click on the archived documents to view them, or unarchive.
