There will be times when you need to complete a transaction on dotloop with another agent who does not use dotloop. Let's go over the best ways to complete this successfully.

- Sharing your documents/Selecting permissions

Setting up your loop
First, set up your loop to share with the other agent.

After you have created and named your loop, make sure to select the loop type (in this instance, the loop is "listing for sale") and appropriate loop status.
For this example, the loop is a private listing until completing the loop setup. Once the loop is set up, switch the status to "active listing" in order to make the loop searchable by other agents wishing to make an offer.

You can add documents from templates, upload from your computer, or send to the loop via email.

Scroll down the page until you see the section marked People. Click the Add Person button to add the other agent to the loop.

While adding the agent, ensure to enter their name (First and Last), email address, and select their proper role.
Now that you have added the agent to the loop, you can set documents and prepare them for sharing.
Sharing your documents/Selecting permissions
Once you've set up your loop, you are ready to begin sharing the document(s) with the other agent

If you want to share multiple documents, you can check more than one.

The share button appears at the top right of the Documents section once one or more documents have been checked.

By default the permission “View Only” is selected. “View Only” will allow the recipient to view the document in dotloop, as well as print or download it. Use this permission if you only want the recipient to review the document. If this permission is appropriate for your needs, skip step 4.

Allow the recipient to edit the document by clicking the drop down arrow next to “View Only” permission and select “Can Edit In Private”. This will allow the other agent to make any necessary modifications to the document, as well as assign and share the document/s to their clients for signing.
Important to note: Once they have finished with the document(s), the other agent must share it back to you for you to see the changes made.

Enter your message in the text field.

This ensures that the other agent receives a copy of the document to view and download right from their email.

The documents will be sent by email to the other agent, they will also be given the option to create their own dotloop account.
Easy Offer™
An alternative to sharing documents with the other agent is to use the Easy Offer™ feature. This feature allows you to set up a public folder with the offer documents you wish to make available to other agents. Easy Offer does not give the other agent full access to the loop, just the folder shared. Once set up, it will have its own unique link that you can share to anyone.

The Set up Easy Offer™ window will open, if you do not see the link check your transaction and loop status. The loop must be set to “listing for sale” with “active listing” as the status.

Located to the right of the Share Link section is the link you can give to other agents who want to make an offer on your listing.

Copy is located to the right of the Share Link section. This copies the link which you can now paste anywhere you would like to communicate with the agent, such as in an email or a social media post.

Your folder is now accessible via Easy Offer™.
Things to remember:
Things to remember:
- You can have more than one folder available within the easy offer
- You do not want to interact with the documents in this folder past this point, as these documents are now public.
- To turn off EasyOffer click Disable, this deactivates the folder(s) shared from being public
