How do I get the app?
You can download the app by going to the apple app store and searching for dotloop(or by clicking on the image above!).
Can my clients use the app?
Yes! The mobile app is free to use for all users and all account types, but will require your clients to sign up for an account.
Is there an android app/when is it coming?
Yes there is!
What version of iOS do I need?
We recommend that users download the latest version of iOS, we currently support iOS 8.0 or higher.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! The app is available to all users, and signing up for a new account follows the same process as signing up on the desktop site. We provide users with a limited amount of free loops to get a better feel for the system, but at their own pace.
Why are features missing?
We believe that you should be able to use dotloop wherever you go. So we have ensured that the mobile app does the vast majority of what the desktop app does. You can prepare and share documents for signature, as well as manage your loops and contacts, to name a few features. That being said there may be a few features that still require desktop access. Over time we will use your feedback to determine what additional mobile features to build.
How often do you release to new users?
dotloop takes into consideration user demand and in-app experience and releases to users accordingly.
Do I need internet access?
Yes, the dotloop app is only accessible through a WiFi connection or via your devices 3G or 4G connection.
Where can I find help?
The menu bar on the left of the app will take you to our support resources. Access the menu bar by clicking on the icon at the top left (which appears as a circle with your profile picture), then clicking on the settings icon at the top right, and then choosing Help. Here on this page you will see our contact number, your member ID, as well as the app version number. At the top right you will see a white button labeled 'help' which will direct you to our support articles.
Does the app cost money?
No! The dotloop app is available free of charge, however, to access premium features after your trial you will need to purchase a premium subscription.
Can I access documents from other apps on my device?
Many applications allow you to open PDFs in dotloop. When you select a PDF within a different application, you can choose to open it in dotloop. dotloop will then ask you which loop and which folder you would like to copy the PDF into. You can also add PDFs to the app from dropbox.
What happens if I downgrade?
You will always have access to your loops and the use of the app, however, you will no longer have access to the premium features available in the app.
Does the people section integrate with the contacts in my phone/do tasks integrate to my calendar?
The app does not currently integrate with your calendar or contacts, but dotloop is constantly innovating.
How do I change profiles?
From the left side of your loops page tap on your profile icon, next select the profile you would like to switch to from the list of available profiles.
How do I edit my notifications?
From the profile selection menu menu, tap on the settings icon. Under settings, choose the profile settings for the profile you wish to change, select which notifications you would like to receive and click done. You will be notified via push notifications through your mobile device, as well as email.
How do I submit for review?
When in the loop you would like to submit click the drop down arrow located at the top right of the screen from here select submit for review.
How do I add a picture to my loop?
When in your loop hold and drag the page to pull down the add photo screen. Select add photo to pick from your camera roll or take a picture right from your device.
Where do I find my upload via email address in the app?
Tap the templates icon from your loops page, then tap on the plus sign next to your inbox folder. This will display and allow you to copy the email address to clipboard.
