There are two scenarios in which you might begin setting up your account. Choose the option below that best fits your situation to learn how to setup your dotloop account:
- My company is providing me with dotloop or I received a Brokerage or Team invitation email
- I’m signing up for my own account as an individual agent
My company is providing me with dotloop or I received a Brokerage or Team invitation email
Check your inbox to see If you have received an email from your brokerage or team inviting you to join dotloop. If you haven’t received one and know that your company is providing you dotloop access, try reaching out to your office admin.
After reading the body of the email, click the Get Started button.

If you do not already have an account, you will be prompted to create your account. On this page, some information may be filled in already for you (which you can edit if incorrect). The required fields are listed below:
- Full Name: Fill out your full name as you wish it to appear on your account and for others you will be working with in dotloop.
- Your Email: Your email should already be pre-filled in this field, and while you can change it, it is advisable to instead reach out to your broker or team leader to have them correct your email in their roster.
- New Password: Select a password for your account. Dotloop requires the password to be at least 6 characters, with at least one letter and one number.
- Select Role: From the dropdown, choose your appropriate role.
- Select State: Choose the state in which you live or work.
Fill out your information on the form and click the Sign Up For Free button. Proceed to step 4.
If you do have an account, you will be prompted to sign in, and then asked if you would like to set this new office profile as your login default profile. Click Set as Default to do so, or click Cancel to maintain your existing settings. Once you have completed this step as an existing user, you are finished.

Note: after signing in to dotloop, you may see a pop up notification asking you to verify your email - even after you have already done so. Click the X to exit the popup and try refreshing the page.
I’m signing up for my own account as an individual agent


- Full Name: FIll out your full name as you wish it to appear on your account and for others you will be working with in dotloop.
- Your Email: Type in your email address. We do suggest that you use the email address you use for your business, as this is the email address other dotloop users will use to share documents with you.
- New Password: Select a password for your account. Dotloop requires the password to be at least 6 characters, with at least one letter and one number.
- Select Role: From the dropdown, choose your appropriate role.
- Select State: Choose the state in which you live or work.
Once finished, click the Sign Up For Free button.

Note: after signing in to dotloop, you may see a pop up notification asking you to verify your email - even after you have already done so. Click the X to exit the window and try refreshing the page.
