Loop management within the dotloop iOS mobile app is a powerful tool to allow you to manage your loops and customize them to view in a way that suits your own personal needs. These tools allow you to select how your loops appear with the two view options, to utilize your filters to display only the loops you wish to see, to select how your loops are sorted, as well as see the activity and notifications on your account.
Within the dotloop mobile app you have two choices for how your loops display: Grid View and List View. These two views vary how the loops display. By default, the app will display your loops in Grid View. To change the way your loops display, first tap on icon at the top right of your loops page that appears as a circle with a down arrow. If in Grid View, the option displayed will be LIST VIEW, and if in List View, the option displayed will be GRID VIEW. Tapping on the option displayed will switch the view.
Grid View will show loops as large circles, with the loop name in the center. If you have uploaded a picture to the loop, this will display within the circle as well. In this view you will see any notifications for a particular loop denoted by a red circle with a number at the top right of the loop.
List View will display loops as a list. This view is useful if you have many loops in your account, and will also allow you to search your displayed loops by pulling the list downward, and tapping into the search bar at the top of the page.
Also, within List View, if you click on the three vertical dots to the left of a loop name you can quickly change the Loop Status of the loop.
Within the mobile app dotloop allows you to sort the loops displayed to your liking. To do so click on the icon at the top right that appears as a down arrow within a circle and choose SORT BY.
You will see the following options: DEFAULT, ADDRESS, LAST UPDATED, MLS NUMBER, PURCHASE PRICE, LISTED DATE, EXP. DATE, and CLOSING DATE. Choose the sorting option that you would like, and dotloop will automatically arrange your displayed loops. note: choosing the same option a second time will reverse the order in which the loops are sorted by.
Loop filters allow you to choose which loops should display on your loops page. The options displayed will be one of, or any combination of, these three options: Review Stage, Loop Status, or Tags. If you are an agent we suggest to only focus on the options listed in the Loop Status section, as the other options will only be utilized by your company's admins.
To modify the loop filters, first tap on the icon at the top right corner that appears as a down arrow within a circle, and select the FILTER BY option.
We will now be taken to a list of options, each separated by one of the three sections listed above. Here you will check, or un-check, each option you wish to display. Review Stage can be utilized as a way for office admins to filter loops based on the workflow stages they manage. Loop Status will allow you to only display loops based on the status you choose for your loops. Lastly, the Tags section is a great tool for admins who wish to create custom tags to filter loops by. note: to view all loops on your account, make sure every option is UN-CHECKED.
Once you have selected your appropriate filters, tap DONE at the top right of the screen.
Your activity log is a great way to view an audit trail of all activity on your account. This will display any activity on your account by date, time, and loop. You can also check your notifications in this section.
At the top right of your loops page you will see one of two icons. If you have no notifications on your account you will see an icon that appears as a circle with a bell inside.
Alternatively, if you have pending notifications on your account, this icon will display as a red circle with a number within it. This number denotes how many notifications you have pending on your account.
Tapping on this icon will take us to our Activity log, regardless of how the icon displays. On your Activity Log page, you will see a list of all activity, displayed from newest to oldest. Tapping on the icon at the top right, that appears as a down arrow inside a circle, will allow you to choose how much activity you are displaying.
Here you can choose to display activity from the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or you can customize that range of time to display activity from. The custom range allows you to select activity from up to a 30 day period.
