Access your API Key to leverage a pre-built integration
Some of our pre-built integrations will require you to send them an API Key. This is separate from our API Client above. This will require a dotloop account that has access to a Company Admin profile, but cannot have access to any other admin profiles.
Note: We suggest creating a dotloop account and email address specifically for this purpose, and then making that account an admin. For example: API Key(name) api@[your domain].com(email)You can reach out to your partner success manager or our support team for this next step. Let your success manager know what you are interested in activating the API on your dotloop account.
Example Email:
Hello [Success Manager name],
I am interested in accessing the API to leverage [INTEGRATION].
If needed, please send the API agreement to [EMAIL ADDRESS].
Thanks!
[YOUR NAME]
Depending on the integration you may need to sign an API integration.

Within the dotloop account designated to use the API Key, navigate to your account settings for the admin profile.
Does your team or brokerage need a custom integration solution and you have the developer to make it happen? Or are you interested in developing a public integration between your software and dotloop? If so, then a dotloop API Client may be right for you.
If you are interested in more information about integrating your product publicly with dotloop, then follow the link below to read about our API and when ready, click on the Contact Us button under the dotloop CONNECT heading and someone will reach out to you with more information:

However, if you wish to develop your own custom integration with your team or brokerage, and have a Business or Teams account, then follow the below steps.
You can reach out to your partner success manager or our support team for this next step. Let your success manager know what you are interested in activating the API Client on your developer’s dotloop account.
Note: We suggest creating a dotloop account and email address specifically for this purpose, and then making that account an admin. For example: API Key(name) api@[your domain].com(email)
Example Email:

If needed, please send the API agreement to [EMAIL ADDRESS].
